Professor Ghassan Safarini , a faculty member in the Department of Physics at An-Najah National University, was born in Tulkarm in 1955. He is a scientist, researcher and teacher who has presented many scientific researches during his career in the fields of practical condensed state physics, radiation physics and solid detectors. Most of his researches were published in international scientific journals with a good impact factor and provided tangible results on the ground, making him one of the most important researchers in his precise field of specialization, not only locally but also globally.
Professor Safarini obtained his BSc in Physics from the University of Jordan in 1977, completed his MSc in Physics at the University of Manchester in 1980, and earned his PhD from Brunel University in London in 1991 in Practical Condensed State Physics.
In 1997, he was promoted to Associate Professor after publishing research in the field of practical condensed state physics, and he reached the rank of Professor in 2003 after presenting research in the same field of his specialization as well.
