Born in Jaffa 1932; obtained a JCI from University of London 1961. Worked in teaching in Gaza (1951-1952); director of the UNRWA's store (1952-1955); worked at the Ministry of Public Works - State of Kuwait (1956-1964), he then moved to Egypt and worked as a director of Al-Araby TV (1969-1972), manager of Riyad Al-Aryan Films Company in Cairo since 1986.
