A Palestinian poet, born in Jerusalem in 1860; educated at al-Azhar al-Sharif in Egypt; appointed as an Arabic language teacher in al-Ma'aref school in Jerusalem, he also worked as an editor of the Arabic department in al-Quds al-Sharif newspaper. Died in Jerusalem, 1919.
