Born in Jerusalem 1895; obtained his early education at Al-Aqsa Mosque, he was a Muslim preacher and a leader in the local struggles against both the British and Zionists, he formed bands of local fighters and launched attacks against British and Jewish targets; killed by a Jewish bomb on 1949.
