Born in Nazareth city 1923, joined the University of Cairo, graduated in 1950, he then joined the Faculty of Law and Political science 1954, received his PhD in the Islamic Shari'a from University of Cairo; moved to Damascus where he was appointed as a teacher at Dar Al-Mu'almen; dean of the Islamic Shari'a College Damascus University; retired in 1988 and moved to Jordan.
