Suleiman Al-Jaabari (1912 - 1994): He is the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem. He was born in Hebron in 1912, and studied at Al-Azhar University in Egypt. He assumed the position of Fatwa in 1960, succeeding Sheikh Saad Al-Din Al-Alami. Al-Jaabari died in 1994 in Ain Karem Hospital in Jerusalem at the age of 82 years. . Al-Ja'bari held the post of Grand Mufti for a year and a half.
