1906- 1982, Hebron. Graduated from Al Azhar University, 1932; served the Islamic judge of Acer, 1947; after the 1948 Nakbeh moved to Damascus then to Jerusalem to become its Islamic Judge Head of Islamic Board & chief Qadi, Chairman of the Islamic Higher Council in Jerusalem, member of Amman based Shari‘a Committee of Appeals, at the time of occupation; became Head of the Islamic Higher Committee and Director of Shari‘a Affairs, also served as the headed of Al Aqsa Renovation Committee.
