Amer Theeb Muhammad Khalil (born
February 4, 1980) is a retired Jordanian soccer player. He played within the
ranks of the Prince Hassan neighborhood team and graduated with him until the
age of twenty, when he moved to play for Al Wehdat Club. He is a highly
technical and skilled player with good timing and playing with both feet. He
was considered one of the most prominent players in Jordan for his decisive
goals, and he scored the winning goal against Iran, which paved the way for the
Jordanian national team to qualify for the 2011 AFC Asian Cup.
He participated with the Jordanian
national team in the Asian Nations Cup in the two championships in China 2004
and Qatar 2011.

His start was with the Prince Hassan
neighborhood club, and he played in it for two years, which ended with his
transfer to Al-Wehdat, and soon he joined the ranks of the national team. He
previously had two professional experiences with Ittihad Kalba Club, Emirates
Club on loan, and finally Saudi Al Faisaly.

He retired from playing football on
August 25, 2017, in a retirement match with the Jordanian club Al-Jazira.
