The Palestinian child Bassam Ahmed Barnawi, 9 years old, achieved third place in the Kyokushinkai (karate) championship for his weight category.

The tournament was implemented by the Lebanese Kyokushinkai Federation in the city of Sidon, southern Lebanon, this morning, Sunday, July 17, 2022, on the grounds of the Martyr Rafik Hariri Complex, with the participation of 250 players.

It is noteworthy that Bassam trains at the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque Club in Sidon Al-Filat under the supervision of coach Jihan Haitham Doha, and holds a blue belt in Kyokushinkai.
