The International Boxing Federation concluded the International Coaches Course (Star 1), which was held in Sudan, with the participation of three Palestinian coaches.
National trainer Magdi Abu Hashish said that the conclusion of the course came after a week of theoretical and practical lessons and lectures, and a final exam that would determine the names of the trainers who successfully passed the course.
He added: “International coach Makram Al-Qarami from Tunisia lectured with us, and he described obtaining (1 star) as a qualitative leap in the record of sports coaches.
The Palestinian Boxing Federation had sent trainers Majdi Abu Hashish, Jamil Abu Kishk, and Muhammad Salahat to take part in this intensive training course in Sudan, with the aim of increasing the number of internationally classified trainers, which would raise the capabilities and experience of the trainers, develop the level of boxers, and spread the game in Palestine.
The course was attended by 21 trainers from several Arab countries in addition to the State of Palestine.
