Etaf Nabil El Sawy (born 8 January 2003) is a Palestinian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Al-Nasr SC and the Palestine women's national football team.
Early life
Etaf was born to a football-loving father, Palestinian-Jordanian Nabil al-Sawi, who was its first coach.
Career in clubs
Football
Etaf played for Saudi club Al-Nassr, where she was described as "succeeding in winning the women's premier league in its first edition, and was one of the most prominent stars of the team, as she gave an amazing performance that showed her brilliance and talent in football."
Futsal
Etaf played futsal in Bahrain and helped the club win the league.
Global career
In April 2023, Etaf Al-Sawy received her first call-up by Palestine's women's national team, to participate in a double friendly match against Saudi Arabia. On 2 May 2023, Al-Sawy announced on her Instagram page that she was withdrawing from the team for personal reasons, and expressed her intention to represent Palestine in the future.

Etaf is described as "occupying the position of midfielder and good at defensive line positions".
Personal life
She holds both Palestinian and Jordanian citizenship. Croatia international Luka Modric is also her idol in football.
