She is the youngest participant in the 2022 Chess Olympiad, Randa Sidr. She is only eight years old and is from the city of Hebron, Palestine.
Her father started teaching her chess when she was five years old, and it quickly became her life. Randa participated in many tournaments. Her second place in the Palestinian Women's Championship qualified her for the Olympic chess team.
This achievement took a lot of effort, and she hopes to perform well for her team.
Randa's ultimate ambition is to become a Grandmaster. What she wants most from her visit to India is to meet player Judit Polgár.
