Muhammad Salah Al-Dalu ( Abu Salah ; martyred October 15, 2023) is a Palestinian athlete who served as the head of the Palestinian Table Tennis Federation until his martyrdom. He also worked in the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, the Palestinian Football Association, and the Islamic Complex .
He was martyred with his entire family on October 15, 2023, during an airstrike carried out by the Israeli Air Force on his home in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in the Gaza Strip , during the Israeli response to Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa . He was mourned by many official bodies, including the International Table Tennis Federation the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports the Egyptian Table Tennis Federation the Jordanian Table Tennis Federation and others. It was also announced that the Arab Table Tennis Championship, which was scheduled to be held in Beirut at the end of November 2023, would be postponed after his martyrdom.
