Hana Barakat (born in Los Angeles in 1999) is a Palestinian female runner who specializes in the 100, 200 and 400 metres. Supervising her training, American coach Cedric Hill, her father is a hockey player and previously participated in the Olympics as part of the American delegation in 1984. She studies sports at Brown University.
Hana Barakat was born to a Palestinian family in Los Angeles in 1999.
Her father, Mohamed Barakat, participated in the 1984 Summer Olympics in hockey and represented the United States of America at the time.

In January/June 2021, Hana participated in the 22nd Arab Championship “22” and qualified in the women’s 200 race and finished seventh out of 14 players. At that time, she set a new record at the Palestinian national level with a time of 23.39 seconds. She is a sprinter from Brown University of America and the champion of the American universities in the 400-meter relay.
Tokyo 2020 Olympics
Hana is one of five Palestinians to represent their country at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she competed in the women's 100m.
