Palestinian Abeer Rishmawi was able to join the League of Arab Women in the maritime sector, to be the first woman in Palestine to join the maritime sector.

The name of the League of Arab Women in the maritime sector is given under the auspices of the United Nations World Organization, as it includes many countries. It was established in Egypt, as it includes many Arab countries, most notably Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The maritime sector aims to enhance the role of women in this sector, and to increase the skill of women in this field, and recently women have begun to prove themselves in this field after it was known that this field is for men only, and Abeer Rishmawi says in one of her media interviews that we are constantly working to develop women through Training courses to provide them with various skills in this field.

Abeer Rishmawi seeks to expand the number of Palestinian women in this association, as she says that she needs a permanent environment to support her in this field, and the woman has proven herself in various fields, where she can balance her private life as a wife and mother, and on the other hand, to prove herself in the field of the maritime sector.
