Information
With the aim of creating fifty
different paintings to display in an exhibition that blends ancient art with
modern tastes for art, the young architect Raya Abu Musa, from the Gaza Strip,
leads a team of her peers, to present mosaic artworks inspired by the
Palestinian heritage.
The project, whose idea was
inspired by Raya from Umm Amer hill in Zawaida in Nusseirat refugee camp, aims
to revive the Palestinian heritage, by integrating it into the mosaic panel, by
highlighting the colors and heritage identity, so that this image remains
engraved in people's minds, and for Rawya to have her own project to revive and
express this art in a new and exclusive way.
The team presents unique works of
art despite the high cost of one work. The average price of an A4 painting is
$450, and this amount increases according to the size of the painting.
It is noteworthy that this art has
disappeared and is no longer used, due to the existence of new methods and the
development of materials used by engineers in the present time.
