In the Italian city of Arezzo, Palestinian student Tariq Ahmed Al-Qawasmi won the award for the best artistic design in the city, during his participation in the annual gold exhibition (Oroarezzo).

Al-Qawasmi studies the art of goldsmithing and jewelry making - an Italian orientation - at the Istituto (Artistico Piero della Francesca) in Italy.

The young Qawasmi family owns a gold factory that is considered one of the most advanced gold factories in Palestine.
