Information
Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Ali Ishaq, was born on January 1, 1944 in the village of Al-Rihaniya, southeast of Haifa. He was displaced with his family during the events of the Nakba of 1948 to Lebanon. He joined the ranks of the Palestinian Revolution in 1963 AD, fought in the ranks of the Palestine Liberation Front, and rose through its leadership ladder .
He headed the Youth and Sports Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization from 1991 until 2018.
He died on July 6, 2019, and President Mahmoud Abbas, the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and many Palestinian parties and organizations mourned him, recalling his great contributions to the struggle of the Palestinian national movement in the cultural, political, and field fields, and his tireless work for national liberation and social progress over decades.
