Hisham Yacoub, Head of the Research and Information Department at the Al-Quds International Foundation, confirmed that the annual conference held by the Foundation to launch its report, “The State of Jerusalem 2022,” aims to export a strong and supportive position for our Palestinian people before the month of Ramadan.
Yaqoub said in exclusive statements to the Palestinian Information Center on Sunday: The institution will hold its annual conference tomorrow, Monday, to launch its annual report, “The State of Jerusalem 2022,” through an expanded meeting in which many parties will participate.
He pointed out that this meeting is special because it will not be limited to the launch of the annual report, but rather it will be an expanded meeting in the form of a solidarity meeting in which many bodies, institutions, parties and parties from this nation will participate, because the situation in Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories requires that there be a strong, unified position in support of our people and in support of our people and confrontation. for the Zionist occupation.
According to Yacoub; Many symbols and personalities representing Palestinian forces and factions, resistance forces, Arab and Islamic parties, and scholarly bodies from various sectors of the nation will participate in the meeting.
The researcher in Jerusalem affairs explained that the meeting aims to export a strong position in support of our Palestinian people ahead of the month of Ramadan, during which things are expected to flare up in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and all of the occupied Palestinian territories. Yaqoub said: We seek to make this front an extension of our people. They are facing the occupation directly, and we are their support, their back, and their ambassadors in this nation, and we provide them with all forms of support.
He added: We seek to mobilize all the nation's forces in the Palestinian people's front against the Israeli occupation front, in which some world powers that are historically biased toward the occupation support it.
He explained that the annual report will focus on highlighting the Judaization projects and paths that the occupation took in 2022, as well as highlighting the leaps that the occupation has achieved at the level of Judaization, settlement, seizure of homes, demolition, confiscations and arrests.
Yacoub pointed out that the report also focuses on highlighting the level of attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the consecration of public and collective Jewish prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as the attacks on sanctities and the Christian presence in occupied Jerusalem.
He pointed out that the report will also show the strength of popular Palestinian action in 2022, and how Palestinian operations achieved an unprecedented qualitative leap against the occupation soldiers, settlers, and interests.
He said: This confirms that the flame of resistance remains and is rising, in contrast to the escalation of Judaization and settlement. The victory at the end of the battle will be for those who stand firm, are patient, and possess effective tools, expressing their hope and confidence that our people and our nation are on this front.
