The young Palestinian woman, Lauren Imsih (22 years old), from the city of Jerusalem, won the titles of first runner-up for Miss Arab Environment and Tourism and Miss Palestine 2019, at the conclusion of the Ideal Girl of the Arab World competition, which was organized by the Arab Tourism Festival in Cairo.
Wearing the Palestinian dress in front of representatives from 16 Arab countries, Lauren presented during the competition a project that serves the youth of Jerusalem and mechanisms for empowering and educating them, which represents support for them and the Palestinian economy, and enables women to participate in revitalizing the Palestinian economy.
Lauren, who holds a BA in economics from the University of Chester in London, was chosen to represent Palestine in the competition by the Arab Beauty Foundation because of her activity on social media, where she is followed by more than 124,000 followers.
