Fuad Kokaly is a Palestinian statesman and diplomat, born in 1962 in Beit Sahour, West Bank. He was detained by Israeli forces during the Beit Sahour tax resistance crackdown. Serving as the mayor of Beit Sahour for several years, he holds membership in the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy. Kokaly has also held the position of head of the Fatah party in Bethlehem. Currently, he serves as a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council and previously acted as the ambassador of the State of Palestine to Romania.
