Osama Al-Ashqar is a Palestinian critic, earned an MA in Arabic Literature from the University of Khartoum, PhD of Philosophy in Arabic language from the same university; worked as a lecturer in the University of Khartoum until the end of 2005, general-director of Palestine Institution for Culture in Damascus, political adviser at Ar-Rasid Center for Political and Strategical Studies in Sudan; works as an editor and journalist.
