Madani Muhammad Al-Madani Al-Madani is a Palestinian refugee politician , born in the village of Kafr Sabt , which was destroyed during the 1948 war in the Tiberias district . [1] He served as governor of the Bethlehem Governorate on October 4, 2001, [2] and served until November 20, 2003, during which time he was among those besieged by Israeli forces in the Church of the Nativity in April–May 2002. [3] [4] [ 5] Since 2012, he has served as Chairman of the Committee for Communication with Israeli Society emanating from the Palestine Liberation Organization . [6]
Al-Madani has been a member of the Central Committee of the Fatah movement since the sixth conference held in Bethlehem in 2009, and he was re-elected at the seventh conference held in Ramallah in 2016.
