Two projects by students from the Palestinian Society of Chemical Engineers at An-Najah National University won first and third places in the regional conference for student societies held at the Jordan University of Science and Technology.
The first place went to the project of students Muhammad Makharza, Farid Darduk, and Hala Arandi, entitled (corn silk applications in medical and cosmetics).
While third place won the project of students Selina Semaan, Saja Asayra, and Niamat Khalil, entitled (Plastic waste management to make beneficial products).
This conference, approved by the parent association in the United States of America, aims to connect student associations from various universities.
