“Alaa Taim” is the best pleader in the Arab Moot Court Competition in Lebanon
The Palestinian student from the occupied West Bank, Alaa Taim, won the best pleader award among 17 Arab teams participating in the Arab Moot Court Competition in the Lebanese city of Tripoli.
Alaa participated with a student team from the Faculty of Law and Political Science at Birzeit University in the competition, along with student teams from Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Algeria, Tunisia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Morocco.
The Birzeit team, consisting of students Mai Salehi, Omaima Manasra, Alaa Taim, and Renad Barakat, won first place in the Arab Moot Court Competition, competing against students representing thirteen countries.
