Ahmad Barclay is an architect and environmental designer who is currently located in Beirut. He is recognized as a co-founder of arenaofspeculation.org, a platform dedicated to exploring spatial and urban issues in the context of the Middle East. Additionally, Barclay is involved in projects such as Visualizing Palestine and #3awda.
Prior to his current endeavors, Ahmad Barclay collaborated with DAAR (Decolonizing Architecture Art Residency) on the "Laboratory of Returns" project. This initiative aimed to explore architectural models and strategies for the return of Palestinian refugees, addressing the complex spatial and political challenges involved in this issue.
