Information
Dr. Qawasmeh is the General Manager of Gamma United Contracting Company, and is also the Country Manager in Palestine for Trigon Associates , LLC , and the President of Palestinian Consulting Engineering Services. He has over 30 years of experience in planning, engineering, design, project/program/construction management, and delivery of projects of varying sizes and complexities. He holds advanced degrees in civil engineering, including a Masters and a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering and Infrastructure Engineering. He has led or consulted on numerous studies and planning and design efforts for projects ranging from road, water and wastewater projects to environmental and sanitation projects. Dr. Qawasmeh has been responsible for overseeing and managing the design and construction efforts for several kilometers of road improvements and water system installations as well as building/utility projects (e.g. schools, hospitals, etc.) .
In addition to his high technical expertise and experience, Dr. Qawasmeh has many years of successful experience in effectively managing staff as well as operations, program costing and schedule/budget control, as well as working effectively and collaboratively with various ministries, municipalities and government agencies throughout Palestine. This includes significant experience with the USAID West Bank/Gaza Mission.
