Information

Born in Damascus 1917 for a Palestinian family; he left school after the beginning of the Arab general strike in 1963; contributed with the Arab revolt 1936, he killed two Britain police officers so he was wanted by the Britain authorities, in order to that, he ran away to Damascus then to Iraq; arrested in Deir al-Zour, Syria. He established a translating office in Damascus 1967, died on 8 Aug 1988; he was buried in Damascus.
