Information
Born on October 1, 1944, a Palestinian politician and jurist, he was the Palestinian Minister of Justice during the period 2005-2006 and the head of both the Palestinian Supreme Judicial Council and the Palestinian Supreme Court from 2009 to 2014.
Achievements and Awards
In 1989 Al-Jallad was elected vice president of the Palestinian Bar Association, and in 1994 he was elected president of the Palestinian Bar Association.
Counselor Farid Al-Jallad became deputy to the Palestinian Minister of Justice in 2003, and on May 14, 2003 Palestinian President Yasser Arafat appointed him a member of the Palestinian Supreme Judicial Council in addition to his duties as Deputy Minister of Justice. Al-Jallad continued to do so until he was appointed Minister of Justice in the ninth Palestinian government on February 24, 2005 and continued Until March 27, 2006.
