Nabil Muhammad Awad Dmaidi (born March 1, 1959 in Hawara) is a Palestinian civil engineer who served as Minister of the Palestinian Ministry of Transport and Communications in Rami Hamdallah's first and second governments.
Educational attainment
Dmaidi obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan in 1982, a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and Project Management from Penn State University in the United States in 1985, and later a PhD in Civil Engineering and Project Management from the University of Dundee in the United Kingdom in 1995.
Practical experience
Dmaidi was Head of the Civil Engineering Department at An-Najah National University in the period 1997-1998, Dean of An-Najah Community College, then Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology, and later Assistant to the University President and Dean of the College of Engineering. He also taught at Palestine Technical University.
