Ahmad Abd al-Razeq al-Salman (1945 -
November 22, 2009), a Palestinian politician and diplomat, was born in the
Palestinian city of Tulkarm. He is one of the most prominent figures of the
Fatah movement, the Palestinian ambassador to several countries, a member of
the Palestinian National Council, and the former mayor of Tulkarm.

Tulkarm, and joined the Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University in

Ahmed Abdel Razek Al Salman died on
November 22, 2009, and was buried in his hometown, Tulkarm, with a large
official, military and popular funeral. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas
mourned Ambassador Ahmed Abdel Razek, and President Abbas also offered his
condolences to the ambassador's family.
