Janet Khoury, born in 1943, is a Christian woman, mayor of Ramallah, and a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. She is the first female mayor of a major Palestinian city.

She was elected mayor after defeating Ghazi Hanania, the Fatah candidate, after three Hamas members voted for her.
