Walid Ali Siam (June 1, 1955 in Beirut ) - Palestinian diplomat . He holds the position of Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Japan. He is also the non-resident ambassador of the State of Palestine to South Korea .

Working life

Siam worked in the period 1994–1996 in the Palestinian Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation , then in the period 1996–1999 as director of the Japan and Asia Office within the ministry. He was appointed as a non-resident representative of Palestine in Japan and Korea in 1993. In 2003, he was assigned the duties of Palestine’s permanent representative to Japan , and he remains to this day.
