Ashraf Hassan Abbas Asi Al-Awar ( June 21, 1973 in Jerusalem ) is a Palestinian lawyer and jurist . Since March 2024, he has held the position of Minister of Jerusalem Affairs in the government of Muhammad Mustafa .  He is a member of the Palestinian National Council . 

His life

He ran on the Fatah movement list to run in the 2021 Palestinian legislative elections .  It was announced that it was postponed by decree of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on April 30, 2021. 

On March 28, 2024, President Mahmoud Abbas approved the ministerial formation of the nineteenth Palestinian government headed by Muhammad Mustafa and granted it confidence.  On March 31, 2024, Al-Awar was sworn in as Minister of Jerusalem Affairs at the Palestinian presidential headquarters in the city of Al-Bireh .
