Yousef Idais Ismail al-Sheikh (born April 19, 1960 in Biddu , Jerusalem ) is a Palestinian preacher and former minister, who served as Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in the third government of Rami Hamdallah .  Idais served as President of the Supreme Sharia Court, President of the Supreme Sharia Judicial Council, and also Acting Chief Justice of Palestine. 

Academic achievement

Idais holds a BA in Da’wa and Fundamentals of Religion from Al-Quds University since 1983, and also a MA in Jurisprudence, Legislation and Fundamentals from the same university since 2008.
