Ahmed Mubarak Al-Khalidi (Arabic: أحمد مبارك الخالدي; born in 1945, in Jerusalem) has served as the Minister of Justice in the Palestinian National Authority since March 2006, following Hamas's clear victory in the elections and subsequent control of the Palestinian Legislative Council. Al-Khalidi, a former law professor and dean at the College of Law in An-Najah National University in Nablus, West Bank, has been actively involved for several years in shaping the permanent Palestinian Constitution. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Law, Political Systems, and Constitutional Law from Cairo University, Egypt, awarded in 1979.
