Abdul Rahman Tawfiq Abdul Hadi Hamad (March 26, 1944 -) is a Palestinian electrical engineer and politician who held a number of positions in the State of Palestine.

His life 

He served as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Birzeit University , Vice President of the Palestinian Housing Council, and a member of the Palestinian negotiating delegation in Madrid.  He was also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Azhar University in Gaza . 

He also held several ministerial portfolios in a number of Palestinian governments, including the position of Minister of Housing ,  Minister of Energy and Natural Resources ,  Minister of Transport and Communications ,  Minister of Communications and Information Technology ,  Minister of Public Works and Housing ,  and he is a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council , and a member of the Revolutionary Council of the Fatah Movement .

On September 22, 2016, he became a member of the Board of Directors of Al Safa Bank .
