Saadeddin Abdul Rahman Kharma (born 1954 in Gaza – died 15 June 2014 in the Green Line ) was a Palestinian electrical engineer and politician . 

His life 

He was the Director General of the Palestinian Energy Authority, and the head of the Palestinian Engineers Association in the Gaza Strip for several terms.  He was assigned to act as the Mayor of Gaza from 2002 until 2005. 

He was a member of the Palestinian National Council from 1994–2014. 

On January 16, 2004, Palestinian President Yasser Arafat formed the Board of Trustees of Al-Azhar University in Gaza and appointed him as a member. 

He was appointed Minister of Transport and Communications on February 24, 2005, as part of Ahmed Qurei's third government , and continued in the position until March 27, 2006.
