Rizq Namoura Musallam Namoura (Abu Jihad; born 17 April 1960 in Dura ), is a Palestinian diplomat , serving as Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Bosnia and Herzegovina since presenting his credentials on 25 September 2014. He was previously the head of the Youth Union of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front .
His life
Namoura joined the Palestinian Revolutionary Forces in 1980 , and participated in confronting the Israeli invasion of Beirut in 1982. He was arrested in Jordan between 1984 and 1989 on charges of leading a military patrol heading to Palestine on the Palestinian-Jordanian border .
He ran in the second Palestinian legislative elections in 2006 as a representative of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front in the Hebron Governorate district , and received 5,649 votes, coming in 26th place.
Namoura received his MA in Regional Studies from Al-Quds University in 2005.
