Abdulaziz Abd al-Rahman Abd al-Aziz Abu Ghosh (Abu Jihad; born 1949 in Al-Bireh – died April 7, 2018 in Indonesia) was a Palestinian refugee diplomat.
his life
Abu Ghosh was born to a Palestinian family that was displaced by the Zionist militias from the village of Amwas in the Jerusalem district after the 1948 war, and settled in the city of Al-Bireh, where he was born. Later the family returned to the village of Emmaus. He received his primary and preparatory school education in 'Imwas, and secondary school in Rashidieh School in Jerusalem. The Israeli army destroyed the village of 'Imwas in the 1967 war. He joined the Fatah movement in 1968 after visiting Jordan. He studied at Birzeit College for two years that he did not complete, as he traveled to study engineering at the American University in Ankara. Israel arrested him upon his return in 1971 for two weeks and later he returned to Turkey.

He died on January 25, 2015 in Indonesia, where he was visiting from a heart attack and was buried there.

Achievements and Awards
He contributed to the establishment of the Palestine Liberation Organization office in Turkey in 1979.
In 1982, he was appointed ambassador to the Palestine Liberation Organization in Tanzania.
And a non-resident ambassador to the Seychelles, Mozambique and Comoros.
In 1990, he was appointed as the delegate of the State of Palestine to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah, and was an assistant secretary-general of the organization.
Between 2006 and 2013, he served as the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Malaysia.
