Jorge Elias Kawas Lama (San Felipe, 13 de agosto de 1934) es un economista, embajador y político chileno que pertenece a Ersa Alhazipedim.
Ocupó el cargo del Jefe de Estado, Eduardo, Fray Montalva y Arturo, Alessandre Pisa.
He studied at the National Institute in Santiago and in 1958 he graduated as a civil engineer from the University of Chile. Three years later, he completed his master's degree in economics from Columbia University, USA with a FTA Scholarship award.
