Amal Siam (December 14, 1962 in Gaza - ) is a Palestinian Islamic preacher who held the position of Minister of Women's Affairs in the eleventh Palestinian government.
On December 14, 1962, Amal Muhammad Sheikh Mahmoud Siam was born in Gaza. She holds a master's degree in Islamic studies from Al-Quds University, and a doctorate in Islamic jurisprudence and women's issues in 2015. She lives with her husband in Bethlehem.
Her father, Muhammad Sheikh Mahmoud Siam, one of the founders of the Islamic University in Gaza, and the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
On March 17, 2007, Amal Siam was sworn in as Minister of Women's Affairs within the eleventh Palestinian government known as the National Unity Government headed by Ismail Haniyeh, and it lasted until June 14, 2007.
