Walid Abu Ali is the former Ambassador of Palestine to Pakistan. And a non-resident Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to the Maldives. The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Malaysia.

On December 30, 2017, he was summoned by the Palestinian National Authority after sharing the podium with Hafez Saeed, who is wanted by India for his connection to the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks.
