Ibrahim Muhammad Mahmoud Ramadan (born on July 18, 1957 in the Dheisheh refugee camp) is a Palestinian politician and military officer. He held the position of Governor of Jenin Governorate, and currently holds the position of Governor of Nablus Governorate since 2018.
practical life
Ibrahim Ramadan joined the Fatah movement in 1975, and was approved by the Organization and Administration Authority in 1976. He participated in the establishment of the Palestinian Preventive Security Service, and worked in the leadership of the device in the Foreign Relations Unit, then was appointed director of the Preventive Security Directorate in the Tubas region from 2001 until the agency assigned him To take over the leadership of the Jerusalem Governorate Police for a period of 6 months in 2003. He continued in Preventive Security and became director of the Hebron Governorate Directorate in the period 2003–2007, the Tulkarm Governorate Directorate in 2007–2008, and the Jenin Governorate Directorate in 2008–2010. He was appointed in March 2010 as Assistant Director General of Administrative and Financial Affairs in the apparatus and continued until he was promoted to the rank of major general and was appointed as governor of Jenin Governorate on May 31, 2014, succeeding Talal Dwaikat.
In November 2018, he was appointed Governor of Nablus Governorate, succeeding Akram Rajoub.
