Walid Zaqout (1961 in Gaza - ) is a Palestinian diplomat and a member of the Palestinian Democratic Union Party . He served as the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Ukraine from 2001-2005,  after the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2001.  Previously, he was a director in the Negotiations Affairs Department .
