Asmahan Tawfiq (March 5, 1947) is a Jordanian actress of Palestinian origin. She holds Egyptian citizenship and is credited with art in the Gulf countries.

She entered the artistic field at the age of seventeen, where she started with the “Arab Theater Troupe” in Kuwait, then moved to the “Arab Gulf Theater Troupe” also in Kuwait, of which she was one of its founders. She studied at the College of Art in Cairo. In addition to being an actress, she is a screenwriter, dialogue writer and director. She holds both Jordanian and Egyptian nationalities

She married the Egyptian director, Adel Sadek, and gave birth to one son, Wafaa, who is also an actress, and after they divorced, she married the Egyptian plastic artist, Mustafa Abdel Wahab, and gave birth to two daughters, Mary, who co-starred with her in the series Silver Her Heart is White, and Souad, who entered the world of singing for a while.
