Tariq Al-Arian (September 12, 1963) is a Palestinian director from Jenin, born in the State of Kuwait and residing in Egypt. He holds American citizenship after residing in America for a long time, in addition to his original nationality (Palestinian). He is the son of film producer Riad Al-Arian, who produced the majority of Ahmed Zaki's films. Al-Arian learned the principles of directing in the United States of America in the state of Illinois in Chicago, which positively affected his works, which received success by blending Arab cinema with the Western touch.
Tariq Al-Arian married three times, the first in the early nineties, to a Palestinian woman from Jerusalem who works outside the artistic community called "Hala Al-Attal", and she gave birth to his son "Omar" in 1990, and they separated to marry again from the Egyptian media, Angie Ali, and he separated again, and he was married to the Syrian singer. Asala Nasri since March 27, 2006 and then announced their separation in January 2020, and he has twins, Adam and Ali, on May 27, 2011.
