Guevara Ishaq Ahmed Al-Budairi (born in Jerusalem in 1976) is a Palestinian reporter, working with the Al Jazeera satellite channel as its correspondent from the West Bank. She holds a BA in Journalism and Media from Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan.
She was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces on June 5, 2021 while covering a sit-in in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in central Jerusalem. They had assaulted her and the photographer Nabil Mazawi, who works with her, before arresting her in a violent manner. Then the Israeli occupation police released her on the same day, preventing her from Entering Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood for 15 days.
She is the daughter of the Jerusalem lawyer and journalist Ishaq Ahmed Al-Budairi, director of the Orient House, her mother, Mrs. Hedaya Al-Kazemi, head of the Arab Women's Union in Jerusalem, and her brothers, the journalist and media figure Ahmed Al-Budairi and lawyer Orouba Al-Budairi. She is married to the dentist Fouad Al-Mudhaffar, and they have two daughters, one of whom is called Raya.
