Mustafa Hosni Al-Sawaf, one of the most famous Palestinian media professionals, lives in Gaza City, and was born in the fifties of the last century. He studied media at Cairo University, and is one of the oldest Palestinian media professionals in the Gaza Strip. He has been practicing the media profession since the eighties of the last century. He worked as a reporter and press editor for a number of different media outlets, Palestinian, Arab and international, the most important of which is the BBC correspondent, and the office manager of Al-Nahar newspaper. Al-Qudsiyah in the nineties of the last century, and he is the founder and former editor-in-chief of the first daily newspaper issued from the Gaza Strip. He currently runs Al-Jeel office for press and publication in Gaza.
The UAE government and intelligence included him on their wanted lists after he described UAE sheikhs as boys and accused Obama of plotting to strike Syria to serve Israel.
