Nawaf Al-Nabari is one of the most prominent Arab media professionals in Israel in the audio media sector. He studied Arabic language and literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
He began his work as a broadcaster on the Israeli radio in the Arabic language in 1989, and then worked as a reporter for the same radio for education and the presidency for 7 years, after which he worked as an editor and presenter for many news programs, most notably the news tape (with the midday events).
Nawaf Al-Nabari is known for his distinguished programs that lasted for 15 years, including "Hadith Al-Layl", "Markets and Livelihoods", "Your Voice is Heard" and others. Another program that attracted listeners from the Arab world as well is the heritage program (Breaths from the South). The material presented to listeners by Radio Nawaf al-Nabari is characterized by its seriousness, sober style, and treatment of the issues of Arab citizens inside Israel. That is why Nawaf al-Nabari enjoys wide popularity among sectors of the Arab population within the Green Line and in the areas of the Palestinian Authority.
Radio Nawaf al-Nabari is still working in the Arabic language section of the Israeli radio, and he covers in particular the events in southern Israel, especially the issues of the Bedouins in the Negev region, most notably the issue of house demolitions and the dispute over land ownership between the Arab residents and the State of Israel.
